Luminal, a cloud management service, has raised $10 million in a Series B round led by New Enterprise Associates with participation from previous investors Core Capital Partners and Maryland Venture Fund. Luminal helps businesses manage their cloud deployments, and is still in beta but will soon offer a product on Amazon Web Services. Founded in 2012 in Maryland, Luminal will use the latest cash to grow its team and expand its current beta customer base in preparation for launch.
Greenhouse, a recruiting software startup based in New York, has raised $7.5 million in a Series A round led by Social+Capital Partnership with participation from Resolute Ventures and Felicis Ventures. Greenhouse provides a platform of integrated recruiting tools to help companies hire engineers. Founded in 2012, Greenhouse has raised $11.2 million to date and will use the latest funding to expand its team and build tools for integrating data from other recruiting software into its platform.
DripDrop, a rehydration drink maker based in San Francisco, has raised $5.6 million in new funding from Aurum Partners along with musicians Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani and Bob Weir. DripDrop has created a medical-grade rehydration drink, previously only available through an intravenous tube, that consumers can buy in a powdered mix. Founded by Eduardo Dolhun, a Stanford Medical School professor, DripDrop has raised $11 million to date and will be launching its product in the near future.
