Athos, a smart workout clothing startup based in Redwood City, has raised $12.2 million in Series B funding from True Ventures, DCM, Social+Capital Partnership, Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob and NBA player Jermaine O'Neal. Athos makes flexible sensors that can be printed on workout clothing to gather information like heart rate or calories burned and communicate with a smartphone. Founded in 2012, Athos has raised nearly $15 million to date and will use the latest cash to launch its first line of wearables this Fall.

EverString, a sales data analytics startup based in San Mateo, has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from existing investors including Sequoia Capital and IDG Ventures. EverString builds models for scoring leads and predicting customer value to help sales teams prioritize. Founded in 2012, EverString is currently a team of 28 and will use the new funding to hire more data scientists and enterprise sales people.

Chairish, a used furniture marketplace headquartered in San Francisco, has raised $4 million in a Series A round led by Azure Capital and O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures with participation from a list of angels including David Bonderman, Karl Peterson, and Kevin & Julia Hartz. Chairish provides an online platform for individuals to buy and sell pre-owned home furnishings and currently serves over 120 thousand monthly customers. Founded in 2013, Chairish has raised $7 million to date.
