NextNav, a location services provider based in Sunnyvale, has raised $70 million in a Series D round led by New Enterprise Associates and Oak Investment Partners with participation from previous investors Columbia Capital, Telecom Ventures and Goldman Sachs. NextNav specializes in location services indoors and in dense urban environments and has proven especially useful for indicating the precise location of medical emergencies. Founded in 2007, NextNav has raised nearly $100 million to date and will use the new funds to improve its Metropolitan Beacon System positioning network.

iTOK, an IT services provider for small businesses, has raised $18 million in a Series B round led by ABS Capital Partners with participation from Signal Peak Ventures. iTOK provides IT customer support for small businesses through its network of US-based technicians and remote support. Founded in 2004, iTOK is based in Lehi, Utah and will use the new funding to expand marketing efforts and back research and development of new products.

Fixed, a mobile app for fighting parking tickets, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding from Y Combinator, Merus Capital, and angels including Scott Banister and David King. Through the app, users upload a photo of their parking ticket and evidence of why it was wrongly issued, and Fixed will contest the ticket with the local government. Launched in San Francisco in January, Fixed will use the latest cash to hire additional staff members and increase marketing efforts.
