New York-based on-demand grocery delivery startup HelloFresh has raised $50 million in Series D funding led by Insight Venture Partners with participation from existing investor Phenomenon VC. HelloFresh delivers high quality ingredients and recipes so customers can make meals without grocery shopping. Founded in 2012, HelloFresh has raised $67 million to date and currently delivers over 1 million meals per month to customers in six countries.
Portland-based automation software company Puppet Labs has raised $40 million in Series E funding from prior investors Cisco, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Triangle Venture Capital Group, True Ventures, and VMware. Puppet Labs sells IT automation software to help companies automate configuration management and infrastructure and cut costs. Founded in 2005, Puppet Labs has raised over $85 million to date and currently serves around 500 enterprise customers.
San Francisco-based open source identity platform ForgeRock has raised $30 million in a Series C round led by Meritech Capital Partners with participation from existing investors Accel Partners and Foundation Capital. ForgeRock creates identity relationship management solutions for large companies and government organizations. Founded in 2010, ForgeRock has raised $52 million to date and will put the latest cash toward building out product and marketing.
