Gainsight, a customer service startup headquartered in Redwood City, has raised $25 million in a Series C round led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners. Gainsight provides a SaaS solution for account managers to reduce churn, increase sales, and drive customer advocacy. Founded in 2009, Gainsight has raised over $54 million to date and currently sees around 100 businesses using its platform.

VoloMetrix, an enterprise analytics company based in Seattle, has raised $12 million in a Series B round led by Split Rock Partners with participation from existing investor Shasta Ventures. VoloMetrix helps businesses understand how employees spend their time at work, using data from emails and calendar events to streamline operations. Founded in 2011, VoloMetrix has raised $17 million to date and will use the latest cash to back product development and triple its team over the next year.

Monsieur, an intelligent bartending system, has raised $2 million in seed funding from BIP Capital with participation from Base Ventures, Paul Judge, TechSquare Labs, NFL star Derrick Morgan and NBA star Glen Davis. Monsieur is an artificially intelligent robotic bartender that takes orders via Android tablet and mixes drinks on demand. Launched at TechCrunch Disrupt 2013, Monsieur has partnered with NBA arenas, hotel brands and movie theaters and will use the new funding to keep up with demand.
