Blockchain, a bitcoin wallet provider headquartered in London, has raised $30 million in a first round of funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Wicklow Capital with participation from Richard Branson, Mosaic Ventures, Prudence Holdings, Future Perfect Ventures, and a handful of angel investors. Blockchain is the world's largest bitcoin wallet provider, currently managing 2.3 million accounts. Founded in 2011, Blockchain has been completely bootstrapped prior to this round which will go toward improving core services and recruiting additional users.

DocuSign, an e-signature technology company based in Seattle and San Francisco, has raised another $30 million from Japanese companies Recruit Holdings, NTT Finance, Mitsui and MKI, bringing its Series E round total to $115 million. DocuSign provides software for banks, insurers and other companies to gather legally binding and secure signatures online, and is currently used in 188 countries. Founded in 2003, DocuSign has raised $230 million to date and will use the latest investment to fund expansion into Japan.

Jobvite, a recruitment platform based in Burlingame, CA, has raised $25 million in a Series D round led by Catalyst Investors with participation from previous investors CMEA, ATA Ventures and Trident Capital. Jobvite lets companies post job openings and track their performance across other sites, processing more than 30 million job applications to date. Founded in 2003, Jobvite has raised over $55 million to date and will use the latest cash to add new features for employers to its platform.
