Wahanda, a hair and beauty marketplace based in New York, has raised $26 million in Series C funding from RGIP, Fidelity Growth Partners and Lepe Partners. Wahanda is a health, beauty and wellness marketplace that connects consumers with community-reviewed spas and beauty professionals. Founded in 2008, Wahanda has raised $38 million to date and is also announcing the acquisition of German equivalent Salonmeister to expand its business across Europe.

BitFury, a producer of semiconductors for the bitcoin industry, has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by existing investors Bill Tai, Bob Dykes, and the Georgian Co-Investment Fund with participation from Google Maps founder Lars Rasmussen. BitFury creates semiconductors, servers and datacenter solutions for the cryptocurrency industry and has bitcoin mining centers across Finland, Iceland and Georgia. Founded in 2011, BitFury has raised $20 million to date and will use the latest cash to power development of more efficient ASIC chips.

mParticle, a mobile data startup headquartered in New York, has raised $1.5 million in additional seed funding from existing investors Bowery Capital, Harbinger Capital and Battery Ventures. mParticle is a data integration platform for mobile developers that aims to provide app & mobile web owners control of their data assets. Founded in 2012, mParticle has raised $4.5 million to date and will use the latest funding to power growth before raising a Series A next year.
