4moms, a juvenile robotics company based in Pittsburgh, has raised $41 million in new funding from Bain Capital Ventures and Castanea Partners. 4moms develops robotics technology geared toward prenatal to preschool childcare and sells its products in over 500 stores across 24 countries. Founded in 2005, 4moms has raised over $60 million to date and will use the latest cash to back product development and build out operations infrastructure.

Jimubox, a peer-to-peer lending startup based in Beijing, has raised $37 million in a Series B round led by Xiaomi and Shunwei Capital Partners with participation from Matrix Partners China, Vertex Venture, Magic Stone Alternative and Ventech China. Jimubox provides peer-to-peer loans and other financial services for small and medium businesses in China. Launched last August, Jimubox has now raised $47 million to date and will use the latest funding to expand its team and develop new technology.

FlightCar, a car sharing marketplace based in Cambridge, MA, has raised $13.5 million in a Series A round led by GGV Capital with participation from previous investors General Catalyst Partners, SoftBank Capital, and First Round Capital. FlightCar lets people parked at the airport rent out their personal vehicles to other travelers and currently sees over 30,000 car owners and renters on its platform. Launched last year in San Francisco, FlightCar is now operating in Boston and Los Angeles as well and will expand to new airports with the funding.
