Ping Identity, an enterprise security company based in Denver, has raised $35 million in new funding led by KKR with participation from existing investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, General Catalyst Partners, SAP Ventures, W Capital Partners, Volition Capital, Triangle Peak Partners and Appian Ventures. Ping Identity provides cloud-based identity management software for over 1,200 companies and government organizations. Founded in 2002, Ping Identity has raised $110 million to date and currently counts half of the Fortune 100 as customers.

Leeo, a stealthy connected device startup based in Palo Alto, has raised a $37 million round of funding from Formation8, Max Levchin and Scott Banister along with strategic investors Visionnairre Ventures and E.ON. Leeo will provide smart-home tech hardware and has only announced that the first product will launch later this year. Founded in 2013 by the creators of Guitar Hero and the Beats headphones, Leeo has already hired a team of 60 employees during a year and a half in stealth mode and will use the latest funding to continue product development and prepare for launch.

JW Player, creator of the media player of the same name, has raised $20 million in a Series C round led by Greycroft Growth and Greenspring Associates with participation from Cue Ball Capital and e.ventures. JW Player powers online publishing and streams videos for 2 million sites that are watched by over 900 million users each month. JW Player was launched as an open source project in 2005 in New York and has since raised nearly $26 million in funding to date.
