San Francisco-based bitcoin mining hardware manufacturer BitFury has raised $20 million in new funding from Binary Financial, Crypto Currency Partners, Georgian Co-Investment Fund, Queensbridge Venture Partners and ZAD Investment Company. BitFury operates one of the world's largest bitcoin mining operations and provides semiconductors, servers, and data center solutions to the cryptocurrency industry. Founded in 2011, BitFury will use the new cash to strengthen its international presence and accelerate production of mining infrastructure products.

San Francisco-based big data startup Concurrent has raised a $10 million Series B round led by Bain Capital Ventures with participation from Rembrandt Ventures and True Ventures. Concurrent makes Hadoop more accessible, building applications for enterprises to deploy, run, and manage data processing apps. Founded in 2008, Concurrent has raised nearly $15 million to date and will put the latest funds into research and development and doubling its current team of 20.

New York-based cybersecurity firm Fortscale has raised a $10 million round of new funding led by Intel Capital and Blumberg Capital with participation from existing investors. Fortscale helps enterprises defend against cyber attacks, improving efficiency by delivering risk-prioritized analysis and visualization of user behavior and activity. Founded in 2012, Fortscale will use the new funding to extend R&D, engineering and analytics groups, and open a Silicon Valley headquarters.
