India-based online shopping site Flipkart has raised $210 million in a new round led by DST Global with participation from Tiger Global, Naspers, and Iconiq Capital. Flipkart receives 3.5 million daily visits and has sold over $1 billion in goods to its 18 million registered users since it launched in 2007. The most funded startup out of India, Flipkart has raised $750 million to date and faces competition from companies like Amazon and Snapdeal in India's rapidly growing ecommerce market.

San Mateo-based Apixio has raised a $13.5 million Series C round led by Bain Capital Ventures. Apixio applies big data technology to provide health plans and large provider groups with more accurate risk scores and reimbursement values. Founded in 2009, Apixio has raised over $20 million to date and will use the new cash to build out sales and operations to support its growing risk adjustment business.

San Francisco-based drone maker Skycatch has closed a $13.2 million funding round from Google Ventures, ffVC, Rich Levandov of Avalon Ventures and Ram Shiram of Sherpalo Ventures. Skycatch creates photo and data-collecting drones that can be used in industries such as construction, agriculture, and mining. Founded in 2013, Skycatch's customers include DPR, First Solar, and Bechtel.
