Palo Alto-based virtual reality entertainment startup Jaunt has raised $6.8 million in new funding from Redpoint Ventures, SV Angel, British Sky Broadcasting, and angels Peter Gotcher and Blake Krikorian. Jaunt has created a new way to experience 360-degree videos in virtual reality using advanced computational photography. Founded in 2013, Jaunt is working to produce a complete solution for videographers and directors to create wrap-around sight and sound videos.

Berlin-based car-sharing platform CiteeCar has raised a $10 million Series A round led by Mangrove Capital Partners. CiteeCar offers shared access to private cars as an affordable and permanent alternative to car ownership in congested cities. Launched 16 months ago, CiteeCar currently has a fleet of 500 cars in four German cities and will use the new cash to expand both in Germany and abroad.

Berkeley-based native ads platform AdsNative has raised $2 million in seed funding led by Interwest Partners with participation from Onset Ventures, the Foundry Group Angels syndicate, KBS+Ventures, and various angel investors. AdsNative helps online publishers incorporate native ads, allowing publishers to better monetize their websites and apps. Founded in 2012, AdsNative processes millions of ads each month and will use the new funds to expand its technology and build out its supply-side platform.
