Indian online shopping portal Flipkart has raised another $160 million in an extension of a $200 million Series E round raised in July of this year, adding new investors Dragoneer Investment Group, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Sofina, and Vulcan Capital, as well as existing investors Tiger Global. The $360 million total sets the record for the largest round raised by an Internet startup in India. The funds will be used to improve Flipkart's current platform that already serves over 10 million customers and 1 million uniques per day.

Los Angeles-based men's product delivery company Dollar Shave Club has raised $12 million in Series B funding with participation from Venrock, Comcast Ventures, New World Ventures, and Battery Ventures. Dollar Shave Club intends to use the funds to expand its product portfolio to include more than a dozen different men's grooming products. The company has raised over $20 million in funding since March of last year and currently serves over 330,000 subscribing customers.
