Palo Alto-based, insight discovery platform Ayasdi raised a $30.6 million series B round led by Institutional Venture Partners, with participation from Citi Ventures, GE Ventures, and returning investors Floodgate and Khosla Ventures. Ayasdi’s platform uses Topological Data Analysis and machine learning techniques to discover insights without the need to write code or queries. Founded in 2008, Ayasdi has raised more than $40 million.

Copenhagen-based, collaborative web operations platform Opbeat raised a $2.7 million series A round lead by Balderton Capital. Opbeat, a stealth startup founded in 2012, also raised a seed round from Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger, Facebook co-founder Andrew McCollum, former Spotify CTO Andreas Ehn, 23 co-founder Steffan Christensen and early Podio investor Thomas Madsen-Mygdal.

Boston-based, local marketing startup Privy raised a $1.7 million seed round from 500 Startups, Atlas Ventures, John Dais, Mike Volpe, Justin Kitch, Ralph James, and Jere Doyle, among others. Privy bridges the connection between online visitors and in-store purchases by engaging and tracking visitors.
