DroneDeploy raises $20M Series B round
DroneDeploy, a San Francisco-based startup that provides software for mapping and managing drone flights, has raised $20 million in Series B funding, TechCrunch reports. Scale Venture Partners led the round, joined by High Alpha. The funding brings the company’s total capital raised to $31 million.
One Kings Lane, a flash sale site for discounted designer home goods that was once valued at $900 million, sold for less than $30 million in an acquisition announced in June by retailer Bed, Bath & Beyond, according to a Recode article.The sale followed multiple rounds of layoffs for San Francisco-based One Kings Lane, whose business had been deteriorating for some time.
