Is SpaceTech venture capital's final frontier?

David Cowan of Bessemer Venture Partners makes the argument in a TechCrunch post.

After digging into the data, we think he may be right -- since 2014, VCs have committed nearly $1.3 billion in 45 venture rounds for 39 aerospace startups.

But back down on Earth, Airbnb is raising a fresh $1 billion in funding at a valuation of $20 billion. This will make Airbnb the third largest venture-backed private company after Uber and Xiaomi.
