Sunnyvale-based enterprise storage platform Maxta has raised a $25 million Series B round led by Intel Capital and Tenaya Capital with participation from Andreessen Horowitz. Maxta aims to redefine enterprise storage with its software that eliminates the need for specialized storage arrays to reduce cost and complexity. Launched in November of last year, Maxta has raised $35 million in total funding to date.

Massachusetts-based mobile app testing company Perfecto Mobile has raised $20 million in a new funding round led by FTV Capital with participation from Carmel Ventures, Vertex, and Globespan Capital Partners. Perfecto helps enterprise clients test mobile apps on all major devices, reducing the time of the testing process. Founded in 2006, Perfecto Mobile has raised $58 million in total funding and will put the latest round toward product development and continued international expansion.

Pasadena, CA-based cloud solution provider Metacloud has raised $15 million in Series B funding from new investors Pelion Venture Partners, Silicon Valley Bank, and UMC Capital, as well as previous backers AME Cloud Ventures, Canaan Partners, and Storm Ventures. Metacloud provides enterprises with private clouds that can integrate with Amazon's public cloud to reduce complexity and maximize security. Founded in 2011, Metacloud has raised over $25 million to date and will use the latest cash to ramp up engineering, add new features, and grow internationally.
