Berkshire, GBR-based, executive search and recruitment platform Invenias raised a $1.5 million seed round from MMC Ventures and Eden Venture’s Mark Farmer, among others. Founded in 2005, Invenias reported having customers in more than 30 countries and has raised $2.25 million.

Brooklyn-based, online manufacturing marketplace Maker’s Row raised a $1 million seed round led by Index Ventures and Comcast Ventures, with participation from Joanne Wilson and Reddit’s Alexis Ohanian. Maker’s Row currently focuses on apparel and accessories production, but plans to expand into tech. Founded in 2012, Maker’s Row has worked with thousands of U.S. businesses.
