Letgo raises $175M for mobile marketplace
Letgo, the developer of a fast-growing app for people to sell stuff locally, announced that it has raised $175M in new funding from Naspers, Accel, Insight Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates and others. The New York-based company, which has raised $375 million to date, said it is on track to see more than $23 billion worth of merchandise sold annually.
Zoom raises $100M for video conferencing
Zoom, the cloud video conferencing service, closed a $100 million Series D round led by Sequoia Capital. The San Jose, Calif.-based company also rolled out a new version of its service and laid out plans for further expansion.
Priceline founder launches Upside, a travel startup
Jay Walker, founder of discount booking site Priceline, has launched a new venture called Upside that lets business travelers save on flights and hotels by purchasing them together. The Washington DC-based startup has raised $50 million from investors at a $200 million valuation, Skift reports.
