Big day for Israeli cybersecurity tech: Cybereason, a corporate cyber attack prevention startup out of Tel Aviv, announced $59M in Series C funding (led by SoftBank) just four months after raising a $25B Series B. Fellow Israeli cybersecurity startup SentinelOne, which provides endpoint protection for all devices, announced new funding this morning as well -- a $25M Series B round led by Third Point Ventures. After deploying half a billion in capital across 150 primarily U.S.-based startups, Salesforce Ventures announced it will dedicate $100M of its current fund to European investments. It's becoming quite a trendy move: Earlier this year, Fidelity Growth Partners Europe (now Eight Roads Ventures) launched a $250M Europe fund, and just last week London-based Octopus Ventures announced a $140M fund for late-stage European investing. (Speaking of the European startup scene, earlybird tickets to TechCrunch Disrupt London (Dec. 7-8) are now on sale!) In the latest update in the bubble debate, Jeff Clavier of SoftTech VC sits down with TechCrunch's Connie Loizos to discuss the state of the private markets, the changing price ranges of venture rounds, and how it's all effecting his investment philosophy.
