Just two weeks after Dollar Shave Club announced a $75M Series D round, competitor Harry's has raised $75.6M in new funding at a valuation of $750M. Wellington Management led the round, which brings the total funding raised by Harry's to $287M since 2012. Hotel Urbano, a hotel search and booking startup based in Brazil, announced $60M in strategic funding yesterday from discount travel conglomerate Priceline Group. Backed by Insight Venture Partners and Tiger Global, Hotel Urbano is now the third highest-funded Brazilian startup, according to CrunchBase data, following fashion e-commerce site Dafiti and sporting goods retailer NetShoes. Ryan Nichols, EIR at Foundation Capital, outlines what it will take for a startup to "disrupt Salesforce" in the enterprise software industry. Some attacks provide more leverage than others, he says, but ultimately there's room in the CRM market for multiple winners.
