LinkedIn is on a serious shopping spree. Yesterday's acquisition of Lynda.com for $1.5 billion is their second this month after scooping up Refresh.io last week. CrunchBase has tracked 15 acquisitions for LinkedIn since 2010 -- you can see the full list here.

Nordic startups are having their best year yet, according to a report compiled by The Nordic Web using CrunchBase data. In Q1, startups in the Nordic region raised $308 million, which is more than double Q1 2014's $147 million. That jump is due in part to big rounds for eco-friendly data center startup Verne Global and online marketplace creator Saltside.


This Copenhagen-born startup went public in 2014 at a valuation of $631M. Sound familiar?
